Red, White & Brew: Michael’s coffee house in Rhode Island is a thriving business serving his own blend of coffee, calzones, smoothies, and chocolates. Michael took a course from the Developmental Disabilities Council which helped to chart his course. He wanted to work in the food industry. He followed his dream. Now he welcomes regulars, values his employees and works helping others to get jobs too. That has already expanded into the BuddingViolet Cafe and Collectables – named after his grandparents and promoting the work of other budding entrepreneurs.
