The Big Plan Guide for Facilitators is the second stage of a remarkable evolution in person-centred planning which works with groups rather than an individual.  The early origins were with Connie Lyle O’Brien and Beth Mount, which inspired Stephen Coulson and Heather Simmons to create their iteration – the Big Plan – and now because so much has been learned, a guide for facilitators.  This is a gift.  Another  tremendous resource.

Description

This guide represents many years of collaborative work since my friend Heather Simmons and I first facilitated a Big Plan process together in 2005. Over the intervening period the ideas within it have been honed over many Big Plans with very different people and in some cases in different countries. It is in the nature of this work that I have learned much along the way from friends and colleagues who I have co-facilitated with and especially from the many individuals and families who have generously shared their journeys to a good life with each other and with the extremely fortunate and privileged facilitators. This has been work which has been very good for the soul.
