with Tim Corey & Friends
Wednesday , June 19 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. EST
In this session, we will lead you through captivating videos sharing unique stories, highlighting challenges, strengths, and the power of Coast Salish families who experience disability on their ancestral lands in Washington State.
The family stories will be paired with a series of animated videos from a Coast Salish cultural perspective that describe the guiding values developed by Washington State in the late 1980s. These values have been used to guide service delivery within the state.
Along with the video viewings and facilitated conversation, we will explore how all of us in attendance can support inclusion in our local communities.
