Tim Vogt

Tim and has led a life of remarkable innovation – with a dash of courage. Beginning with a very successful traditional carreer, he became Executive Director of Starfire in Cincinnatti, providing excellent support services to people with disabiltities. However, Tim was frustrated as he observed that People were not actually living full lives. So he dismantled the agency, sold the building and began the practice of providing genuinely individualized supports to people in the community. It was not an easy jounrey – and he wrote a great book about the stress and joy of transition. Today, he his gone further. He is prototyping personalized jjourneys with families where they take the lead on projects of their own creation. It is another transformative expereince that may well be a model of our best futures.
