Ideas That Matter: Creating Practices While Discovering Our Neighborhoods December 2, 2020, 1:00-3:00 pm EST

SKU: IP783 Category:

Wednesday December 2, 2020. 1:00pm. – 3:00pm.  EST

Facilitators: Patti Scott, Kim Brown, Sandi Cooper of Neighbours, Inc.  and DeAmon Harges of The Learning Tree

Over the last 2 and a half years Neighbours Inc has been prototyping ways that we can explore neighborhoods with DeAmon Harges. Through this work we have been developing practices in how we approach this action, and how we reflect on what is emerging as a result. Real opportunities have shown up to build social capital and connection for the people we work for, and the direct support staff who accompany them. And these practices are influencing our whole organizational culture. We will share neighborhood exploration stories, and what we are learning, inviting you into the conversation to share your experiences and reflections.
